Warning: Cannot Select - DynamoDB Streams Is Not of View-Type

Issue

After updating a stream's StreamViewType setting in DynamoDB, it's no longer possible to check the box next to the corresponding table in the Schema tab in Fivetran. The table appears grayed out, and the following warning appears:

Cannot select - DynamoDB streams is not of view-type <view_type>

Environment

Connector: Amazon DynamoDB

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Amazon DynamoDB connection page.
2. Select the Schema tab.
3. In the top right, click the reverse arrows button.

This reloads the schema metadata and syncs Fivetran with your updated source configuration.
