Error: Change in TLS Certificate Issued for SourceDB Is Observed

Issue

Syncs fail. The following error appears:

Change in TLS certificate issued for sourceDB is observed. Please re-trust the new certificate by running setup tests.

Environment

Connector: MongoDB

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your MongoDB connection page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Click Save & Test.

We will then validate and trust the updated certificate.

Cause

This issue occurs when we can't validate the TLS certificate using the previously stored certificate information. This typically happens when the certificate has been re-issued or updated.
