When Are Deleted Schemas and Tables Removed From the Schema Tab?

Question

When I delete a schema or a table from my source database, when does Fivetran remove it from the Schema tab?

Can I manually remove it before then?

Answer

To prevent data loss from accidental deletions, we retain metadata for deleted schemas and tables for seven days. During this time, the schema or table remains visible in the Schema tab with the following warning:

Cannot toggle - Deleted from source

If you don't restore the schema or table within seven days, we remove it from the Schema tab. You can't manually remove it in advance, and triggering a historical re-sync doesn't remove it.
