HVA Error: Internal Error Triggered Segmentation Violation Trap SIGSEGV

Issue

The connection fails with the following errors:

• F_JG200A: Internal error triggered segmentation violation trap SIGSEGV
• F_JT04A1: The previous error occurred between child 'fivetran-cap-ftsource' version 6.2.0/11 executable and a parent version 6.1.0/73 executable

Environment

All High-Volume Agent (HVA) connectors.

Resolution

To resolve this error, do the following:

1. Download the latest version of HVA from the High-Volume Agent section of the Downloads page of your Fivetran dashboard. Make sure the version matches the parent version shown in the error message.

2. Upgrade High-Volume Agent. To learn more, see How to Upgrade High-Volume Agent.

3. In Fivetran, trigger a historical re-sync for your connection:

   i. Go to your connection page.

   ii. Select the Setup tab.

   iii. Click Re-sync all historical data.

   iv. In the confirmation pop-up window, click Re-sync Connection.

Cause

This issue occurs when the HVA child version is higher than the parent version.
