My Database Is Not Publicly Accessible to the Internet

Issue

While setting up a new Aurora MySQL destination, you do not want to make your database publicly accessible.

Aurora MySQL destination

Resolution

Connect your Aurora MySQL database using an SSH tunnel.

Cause

Connecting directly to your Aurora MySQL database requires the database to be publicly accessible.
