How Does Fivetran Name Parquet Files?

Question

What naming convention does Fivetran use for Parquet files?

Environment

Destination: S3 Data Lake

Answer

To ensure Parquet files are unique and identifiable, we name them using a combination of the Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) and the timestamp reflecting the file creation time.
