SCIM

Overview

Fivetran uses the System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) API specification to provide user provisioning. SCIM is designed to make managing user identities in cloud-based applications and services easier.

Fivetran supports SCIM for the following services:

• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)
• Okta

Limitations

• We require matching email and username values to provision users with SCIM.
• We don’t support configuring team roles via SCIM. This means you can’t map groups to team roles.
• Once SCIM is enabled, you must manage users through your identity provider instead of in Fivetran.
