Fivetran APAC Servers

We have added new servers in Australia. We will now sync all Asia-Pacific region (APAC) users' data to these servers so that your data remains in the APAC region.

Schema changes

Braze

We have fixed an issue where API response time data was not being synced into the timestamp column in the SESSION_EVENT table. We will now sync this data into a new column, time, and deprecate the timestamp column.

We have added the following columns to the tables below:

• dispatch_id to the PUSH_NOTIFICATION_EVENT and EMAIL_EVENT tables
• channel and phone_number to the SUBSCRIPTION_EVENT table

Criteo

We have added a new table, ADVERTISER.

Fivetran Platform Connector

We have renamed the TRANSFORMATION_TABLE table to TRIGGER_TABLE.

We have renamed the group_id column to destination_id in the TRANSFORMATION, DESTINATION_MEMBERSHIP, and USER tables.

Freshdesk

We have added a new field, association_type, to the TICKET table.

Front

We have added five new tables:

• SHIFT stores shift information
• TEAM stores team information
• TEAM_TEAMMATE joins the TEAM and TEAMMATE tables
• TEAM_INBOX joins the TEAM and INBOX tables
• SHIFT_TEAMMATE joins the SHIFT and TEAMMATE tables

We have added a new child table, COUPON_DISCOUNT, to the COUPON_HISTORY table. We have moved the following fields from the parent table to the child table:

• discount_currency_amount
• discount_trial_unit
• discount_trial_length

Salesforce

We now add a _fivetran_synced column while syncing empty tables and columns from the source.

Shopify

We have added a new table, DRAFT_ORDER_TAG.

We have added a new table, ABANDONED_CHECKOUT, to replace the CHECKOUT table. We have also added six new child tables to replace the following child tables:

• ABANDONED_APPLIED_DISCOUNT replaces APPLIED_DISCOUNT
• ABANDONED_CHECKOUT_DISCOUNT_CODE replaces CHECKOUT_DISCOUNT_CODE
• ABANDONED_CHECKOUT_LINE replaces CHECKOUT_LINE
• ABANDONED_CHECKOUT_SHIPPING_LINE replaces CHECKOUT_SHIPPING_LINE
• ABANDONED_CHECKOUT_TAX_LINE replaces CHECKOUT_TAX_LINE
• ABANDONED_CHECKOUT_URL_TAG replaces CHECKOUT_URL_TAG

We will deprecate the replaced tables after July 20, 2020. Be sure to update your queries with the new table names before we remove the old tables.

Twitter Ads

In the MEDIA_CREATIVE_HISTORY table, we have deprecated the serving_status field and replaced it with the entity_status field to support Twitter API v7. We will continue to support the deprecated field for the next three months, so be sure to make the required schema changes by July 3, 2020.

Xero

We have added a new field, item_code, to the PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_ITEM table.

Zendesk Support

We have added a new table, TICKET_ATTRIBUTE, which stores the attribute values of a ticket.

We have added a new table, AGENT_ATTRIBUTE, which stores the attribute values of an agent.

Zuora

We now add a _fivetran_synced column while syncing empty tables and columns from the source.

You can now connect to public S3 buckets without needing an AWS account.

We now capture deletes for the CONVERSATION, CUSTOMER, and NOTE tables.

Lightspeed Retail

You can now configure your Lightspeed Retail connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

We now create empty tables in the destination even if the source tables are empty (contain only Null values).

MongoDB

We now support SRV host records.

MySQL

We have increased the fractional second precision of our binary log parser from millisecond to microsecond for DATETIME, TIMESTAMP, and TIME types. To correct existing values of these types in your destination, trigger a table re-sync or a historical re-sync in the connector dashboard.

NetSuite SuiteAnalytics

We will implement a new and modified sync strategy for a subset of the supported NetSuite tables. This strategy will ensure that our syncs capture the deleted and modified records. See our NetSuite SuiteAnalytics documents for the complete list of tables that uses the modified sync strategy.

NetSuite stopped updating timestamps from child records to parent records, and this impacted our current sync strategy.

We will gradually roll out this change to all the existing connectors. As part of the deployment, we will re-sync the tables for which we have changed the sync strategy.

Optimizely

You can now configure your Optimizely connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

Oracle

We have a new way to import tables with fewer than 1 million rows. Our new method will make initial and historical syncs much faster and reduce the resource load on your Oracle database. We will roll out this change over the next few weeks.

We have fixed a bug where we mapped NUMBER column values incorrectly if the column was defined with no precision or scale in the source database. Previously, these values may have been truncated in the destination, but they are now copied to the destination exactly as they appear in the source database. We will roll out this fix over the next few weeks. Once the fix rolls out to you, re-sync any tables where you have previously synced NUMBER column values to ensure data integrity.

Pendo

You can now configure your Pendo connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

QuickBooks

You can now configure your QuickBooks connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

Recharge

We now sync analytics data from the CUSTOMER, CHARGE, and SUBSCRIPTION tables into the ANALYTICS_DATA table.

Segment

You can now configure your Segment connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

ServiceNow

We now create empty tables in the destination even if the source tables are empty (contain only Null values).

Shopify

You can now configure your Shopify connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

Snowplow

We now support POST requests for all Snowplow connectors.

Stripe

You can now select the tables you want to sync from the Schema tab on your connector details page.

Xero

We have added support to authenticate the connector using OAuth 2.0. We will be migrating the active users to the new standard of authentication.

Zendesk Chat

You can now configure your Zendesk Chat connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

Zuora

We now create empty tables and columns in the destination even if the source tables and columns are empty (contain only Null values).

REST API Improvements

API configuration

You can now generate a new API secret from the account settings form if you think your current one was compromised. Read our REST API docs to learn how to regenerate your secret.

Changes to the re-sync connector table data endpoint

We have made changes to the re-sync connector table data endpoint. Now, if another data sync is in progress, we will try to complete it, and if it is unsuccessful the request will be declined and the HTTP 409 Conflict error will be returned.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

You can now configure your Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

MongoDB

You can now configure your MongoDB Sharded Cluster connector through the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.

MySQL

We have added Magento MySQL and Magento MySQL RDS to the list of connectors that can be created via our REST API.

Xero

You can now configure your Xero connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is in BETA and is available only for Standard and Enterprise accounts.
