Browser Upload Sunset

We sunset our Browser Upload feature. This feature was only available for Fivetran accounts created before April 9, 2021. You can use our File connectors to sync CSV files to your destination. For more information, see our What Are My Alternatives to the Browser Upload Feature FAQ page.

New user notifications ended

We no longer send email notifications when new users are added to your account to keep the volume of notifications low. We will continue to support changes to users and permissions through our external logs integration.

Transformations for dbt Core

dbt Core versions 1.2.3 and 1.3.1 support

We now support dbt Core 1.2.3 and 1.3.1. You can use these versions to run your projects.

New destinations support

We now support Transformations for dbt Core for the following destinations:

• Azure Synapse
• MySQL
• SQL Server

Schema changes

Apple App Store

Apple renamed the Promotional Offer Name report field to Subscription Offer Name in the new versions of the reports. We have renamed the promotional_offer_name column to subscription_offer_name in the following tables:

• SALES_SUBSCRIBER_DETAILED
• SALES_SUBSCRIPTION_SUMMARY
• SALES_SUBSCRIPTION_EVENT_SUMMARY

We now sync new data into the subscription_offer_name column in the destination tables.

We are gradually rolling out this feature to all existing connections. Contact our support team if you want to backfill older data from the promotional_offer_name column to the new subscription_offer_name column. You may experience slow sync speeds when you backfill the older data into the column.

We have added four new columns to the SALES_SUBSCRIPTION_SUMMARY table:

• free_trial_offer_code_subscriptions
• pay_up_front_offer_code_subscriptions
• pay_as_you_go_offer_code_subscriptions
• subscribers

Asana

We have added a new table, GOAL_RELATIONSHIP, which stores information about the relationship between a goal and another goal, a project, or a portfolio.

We will discontinue the GOAL_SUPPORTING_WORK table on February 1, 2023. Be sure to update your queries.

Braze

We have added a new column, channel_in_app_message, to the CAMPAIGN, CANVAS, and CANVAS_STEP tables.

Eloqua

We have added the following new tables:

Pendo

We have added a new primary key column, _fivetran_id, to the PAGE_EVENT and FEATURE_EVENT tables to avoid data integrity issues. This functionality is enabled by default for new connections created after December 15, 2022. We are gradually rolling out the feature to all the existing connections.

SAP Business ByDesign

Snapchat Ads

We have added new columns to the campaign reporting, ad reporting, and ad squad reporting tables:

Improvements

Amazon DynamoDB

We have changed the sync strategy of our Amazon DynamoDB connector. We now schedule:

• Automatic full source re-syncs if we detect expired change streams cursor.
• Automatic full table re-syncs if we detect:
  • Change in pack mode
  • Expired change streams cursor

Previously, we never automatically re-synced Amazon DynamoDB connections.

Eloqua

You can now exclude the VISITOR table from your syncs. On your Connector Details page, go to the Schema tab and deselect the table.

Iterable

We now sync the additional_properties column to the EVENT table for all Iterable connections. If you want to sync the historical data for this column, contact our support team.

Marketo

We have added a new button, SUPPORTS UPDATEDAT IN BULK EXPORT?, to the connector setup form. You can now determine if your Marketo subscription supports the updatedAt filter for BULK exports. For more information, see Enable updatedAt filter for your subscription.

NetSuite SuiteAnalytics

We now incrementally sync the SystemNote table for the Netsuite2.com data source. We don't capture deletes or updates because the table is immutable.

PostgreSQL

We no longer support PostgreSQL version 8. We only support PostgreSQL versions 9 - 14.x.

Salesforce

We have upgraded our Salesforce connector from version 55.0 to 56.0 of the Salesforce REST API. We are gradually rolling out this new feature to all existing connections.

Shopify

We have upgraded our Shopify connector from version 2022-01 to 2022-7 of the Shopify API and made the following schema changes:

• We have added two new tables, CUSTOMER_SEGMENT and PRICE_RULE_PREREQ_CUSTOMER_SEGMENT.

• We have added the following new fields to the CUSTOMER table:

  • email_marketing_consent_state
  • email_marketing_consent_consent_updated_at

WooCommerce

You can now configure your WooCommerce connector using the Fivetran REST API. This feature is available only for Free, Standard, Enterprise, and Business Critical accounts.

We now generate the CANCELED sync status for the sync_end log event in our logs.
