How Can I Remove a User Deactivated in Okta or Microsoft Entra ID from Fivetran?

I have deactivated a user in Okta or Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), but they still appear greyed out in the list of users in Fivetran. How can I remove them from Fivetran?

Answer
When you deactivate a user in Okta or Azure, we soft delete the user. For more information, see the list of supported features for the relevant service:
To remove the user from your list of users in Fivetran, do the following:
- Go to Account Settings > General.
- Set the Enable SCIM Provisioning toggle to OFF.
- Log out of Fivetran and close your browser.
- Reopen your browser, log back in, and go to Organization > Users.
- Find the applicable user, then click the trash can icon in the corresponding row.
- Click Remove to confirm the delete action.
- Return to Account Settings > General.
- Set the Enable SCIM Provisioning toggle to ON.
