Error: F_JR0E29: License Has Restrictions on Number and/or Classes of Integrate Locations
Issue
While attempting to activate a channel, the following error appears:
F_JR0E29: License has restrictions on number and/or classes of capture/integrate locations
In a multi-hub environment, this error may also reference a location type that isn't configured on the affected hub.
Environment
HVR 6
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
Verify your HVR channel configuration to ensure that you have not mistakenly:
- Defined a location type not specified in your license
- Used more than the allowed number of source or target locations
- Assigned a Capture action to locations not used as sources or an Integrate action to locations not used as targets
This helps identify if the issue is due to improper setup/configuration that conflicts with your license's limits or conditions.
If you're using multiple hubs with different license files and the error references a location type that isn't configured on the affected hub, clear the cached location information by making a substantial change to the affected channel. Use one of the following options:
- Add an action to the channel, then activate the channel.
- Update the channel description with meaningful information, then activate the channel using the default options.
If your configuration appears correct and the issue persists, contact your Fivetran Account Executive to confirm whether your HVR license covers the use cases outlined in your contract. If necessary, contact our support team for further assistance.
Cause
This issue occurs when your HVR license does not include the features you are trying to access.
In a multi-hub environment where hubs on the same server use different license files, HVR may also use cached location information from another hub. This can cause the error to reference a location type that isn't configured on the affected hub.
