Akeneo Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Akeneo to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Akeneo to Fivetran, you need an active Akeneo account.

Find base URL

1. Log in to your Akeneo PIM account.
2. Find your base URL in your Akeneo URL and make a note of it. For example, if your Akeneo URL is https://user-419kj83.akeneo.cloud/#/activity, then your base URL is user-419kj83.akeneo.cloud.

Generate credentials

Follow the instructions in the Akeneo documentation to generate your client ID, secret, username, and password, and then make a note of them. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

Finish Fivetran configuration

1. In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
2. Enter the Base URL you found.
3. Enter the Client ID, Client secret, Username, and Password you generated.

4. (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.

5. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Akeneo data.
