Alida Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Alida to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Alida to Fivetran, you need an Alida account with API access.
Tip: Please contact the Alida Support team for API access and API related queries.
Setup instructions
Create API credentials
Log in to your Alida Platform.
In the navigation bar, click Product Settings > API.
Under the API Credentials section, click New Credential.
Enter a name for the credential in the Name field.
Provide a description in the Description field.
Click Create to generate new Username and Password.
API key can be found on the API page in the Alida platform.
Make a note of the API Key , Username and Password. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Find your API region
To identify the correct region for your organization, sign in to Community as an Admin and select Product Settings > API to navigate to the API page.
The region for your organization is listed in the API URL section.
If your API URL is
https://api.na1.alida.com
, then your region isNorth America 1
.If your API URL is
https://api.na2.alida.com
, then your region isNorth America 2
.If your API URL is
https://api.eu1.alida.com
, then your region isEurope 1
.If your API URL is
https://api.eu2.alida.com
, then your region isEurope 2

https://api.ap2.alida.com
, then your region isAsia-Pacific 2

Make a note of your API region. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Find community API key name
The Community API key name is the name of the community you want to access. This is located in the API setup section of the Alida platform. To access this section, accept the terms and conditions for API access.
Make a note of your Community API Key Name. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Username, Password, and API Key you created.
Select the API region you found.
Enter Community API key name you found
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Alida data.
