Auth0 Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Auth0 to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Auth0 to Fivetran, you need an Auth0 account.

Log in to your Auth0 account.
On the navigation menu, go to Applications and click Applications.
Click Create Application.
Enter a name for your application.
Select Machine to Machine Applications application type and click Create.
On the Settings tab, scroll down to Advanced Settings > Grant Types.
Select Client Credentials.
On the Credentials tab, make select the Client Secret (Basic) authentication method.
On the APIs tab, set the Authorize toggle to ON for Auth0 Management API to authorize your application.
In the Permissions section, select all the Read permissions and click Authorize.

Go to the Settings tab of the application you created.
Make a note of the Domain, Client ID, and Client Secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

On the navigation menu, go to Applications > APIs.
Make a note of the API Audience for the Auth0 Management API (System API). You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Domain, Client ID, and Client Secret you found.
Enter the API Audience you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Auth0 data.
