Bynder Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Bynder to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Bynder to Fivetran:
- You need a Bynder account.
- you need your bynder subdomain, Client ID and Client Secret

Setup instructions
Find subdomain
Your Bynder subdomain is assigned during account creation and follows the format https://<your-subdomain>.bynder.com
.
If you're unsure of your subdomain, contact Bynder Support for assistance.
Create client credentials
- Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Portal Settings > OAuth Apps in your Bynder dashboard.
- Click Register new application.
- Fill the Application Name.
- Under Integration, select an option from the dropdown or choose Other and enter a name.
- Select the OAuth grant type:
- For Authorization Code, add the required redirect URL(s).
- In the Redirect URIs field, enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/bynder/oauth2/return
.
- Add all available read scopes as required for your application.
- Click Register application to generate your Client ID and Client Secret.

The Client Secret will be displayed only once, make sure to save it securely.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
- Enter the subdomain you found.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret you found.
- Click Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your Bynder account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your Bynder account to authorize Fivetran's access.
- Log in to your Bynder account. Once you have finished, you will be redirected back to Fivetran.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Bynder data.
