Cloudflare Analytics Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Cloudflare Analytics to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Cloudflare Analytics to Fivetran, you need a Cloudflare Analytics account.
Setup instructions
Find Zone ID and Account ID
Log in to your Cloudflare Analytics account.
Select your account and domain.
On the Overview page, go to the API section.
Make a note of the Zone ID and Account ID. You will need them to generate your API token.
Create API token
Navigate to My Profile and select API Tokens.
NOTE: If you are developing a new service for multiple super administrators, you can use account-owned tokens, which are not tied to a specific user and for account tokens you can go to Manage Account and select API Tokens.
Select Create Token.
Select Read all resources template from the available API token templates or create a custom token.
Add or edit the token name to describe why or how the token is used. Templates are prefilled with a token name and permissions.
NOTE: Please select all the necessary zones and permissions you require.
Avoid using the Client IP Address Filtering and TTL (time to live) fields, as it may limit how the token is used.
Select Continue to summary and click Create Token to generate the API token.
Make a note of the API Token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: If you have any difficulties in creating API Token please refer this guide or please contact Cloudflare Analytics Support.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the API token you found in Step 2.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Cloudflare Analytics data.
