Confluence Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Confluence to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Confluence to Fivetran, you need:
- An active Confluence Cloud account
- Sufficient permissions to access all required API endpoints
We don't support connecting Confluence Data Center workspaces to Fivetran.
Setup instructions
Find domain
Find your Confluence domain in your Confluence URL and make a note of it. For example, if the URL is https://fivetraninc.atlassian.net, then your domain is fivetraninc.atlassian.net.

Create API token
On the navigation menu, click Security.
In the API token section, click Create and manage API tokens.

Click Create API token.

Make a note of API token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Username of the Confluence account you want Fivetran to use to access your data.
- Enter the domain you found in step 1.
- Enter the API token you created in step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Confluence data.
