Dialpad Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Dialpad to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Dialpad to Fivetran, you need a Dialpad account with API access.
Setup instructions
Find environment
Your Dialpad account determines your environment. If you have:
- a test account, then your environment is
Sandbox
- a live account, then your environment is
Production
Register OAuth app
- Open the OAuth App Request Form.
- Fill out the form according to the instructions provided within it. In the Developer Name field, enter your Dialpad account name, prefixed with
Fivetran
. For example,Fivetran_<DIALPAD_ACCOUNT_NAME>
. - In the Scopes field, select all the available options.
- In the Redirect URIs field, enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/dialpad/oauth2/return
. - Provide appropriate values for the remaining fields and then click Submit.
- Make a note of both the client ID and client secret provided by Dialpad. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
If you are unable to find the credentials, contact Dialpad support team.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Select the Environment you found.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret you found.
- Click Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your Dialpad account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your Dialpad account to authorize Fivetran's access.
- Log in to your Dialpad account. Once you have finished, you will be redirected back to Fivetran.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the associated Hybrid Deployment Agent will be pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select your preferred agent from the list, and ensure that the same agent is also selected for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Dialpad data.
