Docebo Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Docebo to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Docebo to Fivetran, you need:

A Docebo account.
An activated Subscriptions app for your Docebo account if you want to sync data to the USERS table. See Docebo's Managing Apps and Features documentation for more information.

Log in to your Docebo account.
Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the page, and then go to the Admin Menu.
In the Admin Menu, go to the API and SSO section, and then click Manage.
Go to the SSO tab, and then select the Enable SSO with a third party software through a token checkbox.
In the SSO secret for the token hash field, enter a unique secret (for example, !"nmenkub83!"), and then click SAVE CHANGES.
Go to the API Credentials tab, and then click Add OAuth2 App.
NOTE: If you do not see the API Credentials tab, contact Docebo's support team.
Enter a name and description for the new app,
(Optional) Upload an icon to represent the app.
Enter a Client ID for your app and make a note of the value you enter. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Make a note of the automatically-generated Client Secret. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
In the Redirect URL field, enter https://fivetran.com/integrations/docebo/oauth2/return.

Log in to your Docebo account.
On the Admin Menu, click Advance Settings.
On the Main Functions menu, click PENS.
Find your account's subdomain in your target system URL and make a note of it. For example, if your target system URL is https://education.copeland.com/pens, then your subdomain is education.copeland.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you found in Step 1.
Enter the Subdomain name you found in Step 2.
Click Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your Docebo account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your Docebo account.
IMPORTANT: We recommend logging in while in Incognito mode to ensure authorization of the correct account.
Log in to your Docebo account. You will be redirected back to Fivetran.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Docebo data.
