Flywheel Digital Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Flywheel Digital to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Flywheel Digital to Fivetran, you need:
- a Flywheel Digital account with API access
- a Flywheel Digital instance
Setup instructions
Create API access token
- Log in to your Flywheel Digital account.
- On the left navigation menu, go to your profile.
- Click API Access Tokens.
- Click Create New Access Token.
- Enter a token name.
- Define the scope of the token: Global or Regional.
- Click Save.
- Make a note of the API access token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
If you cannot create the access token, contact Flywheel Digital support.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the API Access Token you found.
- Enter the Flywheel Digital Instance.
Instance is the Flywheel Digital account region (country). For example, if your account region is India, your instance is IN.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Flywheel Digital data.
