Forethought Setup Guide Lite In Dev

Follow our setup guide to connect Forethought to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Forethought to Fivetran, you need a Forethought account.

Setup instructions

Generate API Token

1. Log in to your Forethought account.
2. Click Solve and navigate to Widget Configuration.
3. On the Widget Configuration page, go to API tab.
4. Click Generate Key to generate the token.
5. Make a note of your API Token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Note : If you face any difficulties in generating API Token please reach to Forethought Support.

Finish Fivetran configuration

1. In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
2. Enter the API Token you generated.
3. (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
4. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Forethought data.
