Fortnox Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Fortnox to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Fortnox to Fivetran, you need a Fortnox account and Fortnox Developer account.
Note: If you face any difficulties in creating an application, please reach out to Fortnox Support Team.
Setup instructions
Register an application
Login to Fortnox account.
Note: To register, you just need to fill out the form and follow the instructions.
Choose Meny – Utvecklarportal to get to the developer portal.
Click on the button skapa app and choose a name for your app.
In the Scopes section, select the following scopes to associate with your application:

We recommend that you select all the required scopes to avoid HTTP 403 Forbidden errors.
- Absence transactions :
Enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/fortnox/oauth2/returnin the Redirect URI field.Click on the Save.
Make a note of the Client ID, Client Secret and list of Scopes that you have selected. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you registered in Step 1.
Enter the list of Scopes you selected while generating credentials in Step 1.
Note: Please enter all the selected scopes as space separated values. Ex:
settings bookkeeping connectfile salary payment invoiceClick Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your Fortnox account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your Fortnox account to authorize Fivetran's access.
Login to your Fortnox account. Once you have finished, you will be redirected back to Fivetran.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Fortnox data.
