Fountain Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Fountain to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Fountain to Fivetran, you need a Fountain account.
Setup instructions
Find API Token
Log in to your Fountain account.
In the top-right corner of the page, click your account name, and then select Company Settings.
Go to Developer Settings > API.
Click Show API Keys.
If you do not see any API settings, contact Fountain's support team.
Make a note of the API Token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
- In the Subdomain field, do the following:
- If your Fountain URL contains your account's region, enter the region. For example, if the URL is
https://us-2.fountain.com/api/v2/users, then enterus-2. - If your Fountain URL does not contain your account's region, enter
api. For example, if the URL ishttps://api.fountain.com/v2/users, then enterapi.
- If your Fountain URL contains your account's region, enter the region. For example, if the URL is
- Enter the API token you found in Step 1.
- In the URL format drop down menu, select
Account's regionif your Fountain URL contains your account's region or else, selectFountain URL. (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Fountain data.
