Google Ads Error: No Client Accounts Found for the Connected User
You may encounter the following error while setting up a Google Ads connection:
No client accounts found for the connected user.
What causes the No client accounts
found error?
This error occurs when the connector is unable to locate any ads in the account or the user is trying to connect to a manager account that has sub-manager accounts.
How to resolve the No client accounts
found error?
To resolve this error, do the following:
- Ensure that the connected account is a manager account that has access to the Google Ads API. If it is a client account, it will not have API access.
- Ensure that the selected manager account does not have sub-manager accounts. If it does, connect the sub-manager account instead.
- Check that the ads in the client accounts are active for us to pull the data. If a campaign from the past is not currently running, we will not be able to access the data.
