Unwanted Google Ads Reports Synced to Destination
If more Google Ads reports are syncing to your destination than you originally configured, it may be due to your schema settings or our automatic sync behavior.
Why are unwanted reports syncing to the destination?
By default, the Prebuilt and Metadata reports are included in your connection schema. These reports appear as predefined tables in the Schema tab and may sync automatically unless you manually deselect them. To learn more, see our our Google Ads schema information.
In addition, if your connection's Schema Change Handling settings are configured to sync new tables, new reports may be added and synced to your destination automatically.
How to ensure only the reports you want are synced?
To control which reports sync to your destination, do the following:
- In Fivetran, go to your Google Ads connection page.
- Select the Schema tab.
- Deselect the checkboxes next to the tables you don't want to sync.
- In the top right, click the Schema settings (gear) icon, then choose your preferred Schema Change Handling option.
- Click Save changes.
