Guru Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Guru to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Guru to Fivetran, you need a Guru account with an Admin or Owner role.

Log in to your Guru account.
In the left navigation pane, click Team Settings and then Apps and Integrations.
Go to the API Access tab and click + Generate user token.
In the Generate New User Token pop-up, select the user you want to create the new token for and click Generate token.
Make a note of the token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
Enter your Guru username into the Username field. In the Password field, enter the User Token you created in Step 1.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Guru data.
