Khoros Marketing Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Khoros Marketing to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Khoros Marketing to Fivetran, you need a Khoros Marketing account.
Setup instructions
Generate Access Token
- To retrieve your client id, have your company admin-contact support and request a new or pre-existing client id.
- Support will respond with a Client ID and a Client Secret, both of which are needed to obtain an generate an access token.
- Navigate to Profile Settings by clicking on your profile image or avatar at the top right corner of the screen, then select Profile Settings.
- On the navigation menu, select API Access Token.
- Enter your company's Client ID and Client Secret.
- Click on select Generate Access Token.
- Sign in and authenticate with Khoros through the popup. The generated token will be tied to your unique login.
- Make a note of the Access Token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: If you do not get Username and Password, reach out to Khoros Marketing customer support.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Access Token you found in Step 1.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Khoros Marketing data.
