Mailgun Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Mailgun to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Mailgun to Fivetran, you need a Mailgun account.
Setup instructions
Find Mailgun subdomain
Find your account's subdomain in the Mailgun URL and make a note of it. The subdomain depends on the region you have created your domain in.
Note: If your domain is in the EU region and your Mailgun URL is
https://api.eu.mailgun.net/
, then your subdomain isapi.eu
. If your domain is in the US region and your Mailgun URL ishttps://api.mailgun.net/
, then your subdomain isapi
.
Find API key
Log in to your Mailgun account.
In the top-right corner of your page, click your profile, and then select API keys
In the API Security tab, click the view icon next to Private API key.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
In the Username field, enter
api
.Enter the Subdomain you found in Step 1.
Enter the API Key you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Mailgun data.
