Data Models Don't Appear for Selection in the Schema Tab

Issue

Data models don't appear for selection in the Schema tab in Fivetran.

Environment

Connector: Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher connection page.
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Under Data Model Paths (Optional), enter the exact folder path that contains the .xdm file.
5. Click Save & Test.
6. Select the Schema tab.
7. Click the Refresh button (Update latest schema from source).
8. Confirm that the data model appears in the connection schema.
9. In the top right, click Sync or wait for the next scheduled sync.

Cause

This issue occurs when you don't specify the folder path that contains the .xdm file in the Data Model Paths field of the connection setup form. Fivetran uses this field to find .xdm data models. The BIP Folder Location field doesn't control data model discovery.
