Error: BICC Permission Is Not There

Issue

Setup tests fail with the following error:

BICC permission is not there

Environment

Connector: Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications - FSCM (ERP & SCM)

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications - FSCM (ERP & SCM) connection page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Ensure the Username and Password fields match the credentials for the Fivetran user you created in Oracle. For more information, see our Create Oracle User documentation.
5. Make sure you've created and assigned the BICC and UCM custom roles to the Fivetran user.
6. Verify that you successfully configured and tested the UCM storage connection in BI Applications Configuration Manager.

Cause

This issue may occur for any of the following reasons:

• The Username and Password you provided while setting up your connection are invalid.
• The required BICC and UCM custom roles are missing or misconfigured.
• The UCM storage connection hasn't been created, or is configured incorrectly.
