Oracle Fusion Field Service Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Oracle Fusion Field Service to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Oracle Fusion Field Service to Fivetran, you need an Oracle Fusion Field Service account.
Setup instructions
Find Instance
Login to your Oracle Fusion Field service account.
The Instance name is available on the Configuration > About screen of the Oracle Fusion Field Service application.
Make a note of the Instance. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Create API credentials
- In the Field Service Manage interface, click Configuration and select Applications.
- In the left pane, click the plus icon to enter the details of the application that you want to register.
- In the New Application window:
- Enter the Application Name and Application ID.
- In the Token service drop-down, select the token service as OFSC.
- Click Save.
- Under Authentication Settings, enable the Authenticate using Client ID/Client Secret checkbox.
- Enter the Root Resource ID. If you’re unable to locate your root resource id, please contact Oracle Fusion Field Service Support.
- Click Show Client ID / Client Secret and then note them down.You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
In the Instance name , enter the instance you found.
Enter the Client ID, Client secret and Root Resource ID you created.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Oracle Fusion Field Service data.
