Pinterest Ads Metrics Mismatch

Issue

Metric values, such as conversions or signups, don't match the values shown in the Pinterest Ads Manager UI.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure the attribution window configured in your Fivetran Pinterest Ads connection matches the attribution window applied in the Pinterest Ads UI report or campaign settings.

To update the attribution window in Fivetran:

1. Go to your Pinterest Ads connection page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Update the following values:
   • Click Attribution Window
   • Engagement Attribution Window
   • View Attribution Window
4. Click Save & Test.

Cause

Pinterest applies attribution windows at the campaign and reporting level. This issue occurs when the attribution window selected in the Pinterest Ads UI differs from the attribution window configured in your Fivetran connection.
