How to Check if the Authorizing User Has Access to Missing Salesforce Data
If tables or fields are missing from the destination, you can determine whether the connection's authorizing user can access the relevant data by following the steps below.
- In Fivetran, go to your Salesforce connection page.
- Select the Setup tab.
- In the Connection metadata & setup section, make a note of the Salesforce User and Org ID.
- Log in to your Salesforce account as the Salesforce User from step 3.
- Check that your Salesforce Organization ID matches the Org ID from step 3 by looking at the ID in your Salesforce environment's URL or on the Support landing page. For more information, see Salesforce's Find your Organization ID documentation.
- Check whether you can access the relevant data.
