How Does Fivetran Handle Deleted Salesforce Tables?

Question

If tables are deleted in Salesforce but we still use that data for reporting, do we need to update anything in Fivetran to ensure the data is not lost?

Answer

If a Salesforce table or object is deleted at the source or its API name changes, Fivetran no longer detects it during the metadata refresh. The object is automatically deselected in the connection schema, and we stop syncing data from it.

The table that already exists in your destination is not removed. It remains in place, preserving all previously synced historical data.
