Does Fivetran automatically delete system table data?

Answer

System tables store metadata about Fivetran operations, such as API calls and query logs, and can grow over time. We don't automatically delete data from these tables. To manage table size, we recommend manually implementing a data retention policy to delete records older than a specified time frame.

Deleting records won’t impact your connection's functionality, but the data can't be recovered. Consider your organization’s auditing or troubleshooting needs before removing historical system table data.
