Snyk Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Snyk to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Snyk to Fivetran, you need:
- a Snyk account with Admin access
- API access
Setup instructions
Find region
Log in to your Snyk account.
Find the region in which your account is hosted in your Snyk URL and make a note of it. For example:
- If your Snyk URL is
https://api.snyk.io/rest/
, then your account is hosted inDefault
. - If your Snyk URL is
https://api.eu.snyk.io/rest/
, then your account is hosted inEU
. - If your Snyk URL is
https://api.au.snyk.io/rest/
, then your account is hosted inAU
. - If your Snyk URL is
https://api.us.snyk.io/rest/
, then your account is hosted inUS
.
- If your Snyk URL is
Find API token
On the navigation menu, click your profile and select Account Settings.
On the navigation menu, click General.
In the KEY field, click click to show.
Make a note of the API token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
- Enter the Region you found in Step 1.
- Enter the API token you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Snyk data.
