Validio Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Validio to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Validio to Fivetran, you need a Validio account.
Setup instructions
Create Access key ID and Secret access key
- Log in to your Validio account.
- Navigate to Workspaces > API.
- Click + New API Key to create a new API Key.
- Assign a Name and user Role to the API Key.
- Click Create.
- Make a note of the Access key ID and Secret access key. You need them to configure Fivetran
Get your subdomain
- Log in to your Validio account.
- Copy your subdomain from the URL. If your URL is https://fivetran-integration.cust.prod.azure.validio.io/overview your subdomain will be fivetran-integration.cust.prod.azure.validio.io.
NOTE : If you face any difficulties in creating an Access key ID and Secret access key, contact Validio Support Team.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Access key ID and Secret access key you found.
- Enter the Subdomain you found.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Validio data.
