Formstack Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Formstack to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Formstack to Fivetran, you need:

a Formstack account with API access
Administrator permissions to create a v2 API application
Contact Formstack support for help with application creation.

Log in to your Formstack account as an Administrator user.
In the top right corner, click the profile icon and select API.
Only Administrators can create v2 API applications. You also need the Formstack Platform API Add-on to set up custom integrations.
On the Formstack API page, click Create new application.
Enter the APPLICATION NAME.
Specify the REDIRECT URL as https://fivetran.com/integrations/formstack/oauth2/return.
Enter the DESCRIPTION.
Go back to the API page and select the application you created.
Make a note of the Client ID and Client secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

In the connection setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
Enter the Client ID and Client secret that you created.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Formstack data.
