Custom Reports
Our Google Analytics 4 connector supports custom reports that allow selecting the following parameters and fields:
- Aggregation (optional)
- Rollback window (optional)
- Filtering (optional)
- Dimensions and metrics
Aggregation
This parameter supports the following values:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
Aggregation levels
Depending on the aggregation you select, you must select the corresponding date dimension in the report dimensions:
date
for DailyyearWeek
orisoYearIsoWeek
for WeeklyyearMonth
for Monthlyyear
for Yearly
Rollback window
Once a day, we perform a rollback sync, in which we sync all data from a certain time window for each report.
The rollback window can be between 2 and 90 days. The default value is 30 days.
Filtering
We provide dimension-based filters that you can apply to your custom reports.
Each filter allows you to include or exclude records based on a specified dimension value and a matching condition, such as Value exactly matches expression or Value starts with expression, etc. You can create and apply several filters, which are joined by logical AND.
NOTE: See How Can I Filter Records Included in My Custom Report? to learn more.
Report template
We provide report templates that can serve as the basis for your custom report. The templates are the same as our prebuilt reports. See our prebuilt reports documentation to learn about the report templates that we offer.
Dimensions and metrics
We support the following groups of dimensions and metrics for custom reports:
IMPORTANT: The accounts that you sync determine the exact dimensions and metrics that are available for your custom report.
