Why Are Some Instagram Stories Missing From the Destination?

Why are some Instagram Stories missing from my destination even though I can see them in Instagram?

Answer

An Instagram Story may be missing from your destination for the following reasons:

• The Story was no longer active when Fivetran synced your data. We can only capture Story data during the 24-hour period when the Story is active.
• Your connection was inactive, unauthenticated, or otherwise unable to sync while the Story was active.
• Your connection isn't configured to sync data from the account that posted the Story.
• The Story was deleted from Instagram.

Stories that are archived or older than 24 hours are no longer retrievable through the Meta API. We can't backfill them after their active window expires, including through a re-sync.
