Can I Configure the Rollback Window for a Prebuilt Report?

Question

Can I adjust the daily rollback window for a prebuilt report? The default rollback window is 30 days, but I want to reduce it to around 2–4 days to lower the report's Monthly Active Rows (MAR) usage.

Answer

You can't change the rollback window for a prebuilt report directly in Fivetran. To use a different rollback window, create a custom report that replicates the prebuilt report, then configure the rollback window for the custom report.

To configure a custom rollback window:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Google Analytics 4 connection page.
2. Select the Settings tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Under Custom reports, add a new custom report that uses the same dimensions and metrics as the prebuilt report. Use our Prebuilt Reports documentation as a reference.
5. In the Rollback window field, enter a value between 2 and 90 days.
6. Click Save & Test.
